Encouraging Words by Smith Wigglesworth...
As I was doing my devotion the morn before last - I saw a couple of lines from a Smith Wigglesworth sermon ((that offered EXTREME encouragement.. And wanted to share them here thus it may encourage someone else! Passing it along ~ Cause.. 'Ya Know.. 'Tis what is all about!! FoSho!!!
As HE [JESUS] 'was'... WE MUST 'be'...
As HE IS; WE MUST BE.. In the world..
**TO BE 'POOR IN SPIRIT'; is when the human within you,
has come to HELPLESSNESS...
** TO HUNGER and THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS;
is when NOTHING can fascinate us, like being near to GOD..
You are NEVER rich enough to distribute;
UNTIL you are brought to poverty within yourself...
**We are MOST ALIVE; when we are MOST DEAD...
** We know MOST; when we know LEAST; ((that is when we'd like NOTHING ELSE in the world more, than to be SWALLOWED UP by GOD!
** You can INSPIRE [for Christ]; ONLY as you are in HELPLESSNESS!!
** God has everlasting arms that can
reach down, underneath, & round about..
** GOD CANNOT help you; WHILST YOU can HELP YOURSELF!!...

as IT WAS to me!!! 😉
